The PROXe Employee Time Clock combines the best features of the PROX with Ethernet connectivity. The PROXe Employee Time Clock includes a 7-foot cable, enables simultaneous, multiple clock use, and supports 50 employees (expandable to 200 employees per terminal). While employees use a badge to clock IN and OUT, optional PIN entry at the clock eliminates downtime if a badge is lost or misplaced.

Easy to setup

Attach the mounting bracket to the wall and lock the time clock into place with the key. Connect the 7-foot cable from the PROXe Employee Time Clock to a network hub and TimeVue software (included) will communicate directly with your PROXe Employee Time Clock.

Easy to clock IN or OUT

The system reads badges through most wallets or purses, so employees just wave the Proximity badge within a few inches of the clock. That's it. Employees can view their last punch directly at the clock. With recommended upgrade to AutoPoll employees will see the most up to date and accurate data, no need to poll the data.

Easy to manage

TimeVue® time tracking software does the calculating for you: regular hours, two levels of overtime, and an unlimited number of other hour categories such as sick, vacation and holidays. Track tips earned or job numbers, change departments, or edit punches at the clock or at the PC. TimeVue Software gives you the power and control to execute payroll your way!

Easy to grow

Need more clocks? Add them using the standard 7-foot Ethernet cable that’s included with the PROXe to your already existing office network. Also, customize your software and increase capacity with additional software modules, and add Multi-user Licenses to share data with any computer on your network.

Why choose a Proximity technology badge system?

Proximity systems are rapidly replacing magnetic strip or barcode badge systems. Why? Magnetic and barcode badges wear out, are less secure (they can be duplicated), and require exposed electronics to read. Vandalism, dirt, and grime can break the slot that the badges run through.

Proximity badges don't wear out, can't be duplicated, and use internal (not exposed) electronics to read the card. What's more, since the employee simply touches their wallet or purse to the clock to sign IN or OUT, Proximity badges are lost less frequently than magnetic or barcode badges.

But, not all Proximity badge systems are the same.

What if an employee leaves a badge at home? Icon Time Systems PROXe Employee Time Clock allows a manager to immediately clock IN a badge-less employee. It's simple: A manager, using a secure code, clocks IN the employee from a roster shown right on the time clock screen! Other badge systems require going to the PC, starting the time and attendance software, and then manually entering the punch time. Of course, Icon's badge system offers PC editing too, but why wait?

Finally, what if you run out of badges? With other badge systems you may be out of luck until new ones arrive. With Icon's Proximity badge system, you simply assign your employee a unique ID code, which they use on the keypad to sign IN or OUT until you are ready to assign a new badge.
