Icon Time Systems® PROX Employee Time Clock
The PROX is a basic version which makes it affordable for those
companies who currently have less than 50 employees. If needs
change
later, and an additional time clock is required, two or more
clocks can
be connected to a office network. An additional software upgrade
can be
purchased which increases the capacity from 50 employees to 200.

course, the PROX Employee Time Clock uses the latest Proximity
technology that makes employee time tracking and clocking IN
more
efficient than ever: a simple wave of the badge within inches of
the
unit, is all it takes — no need to even remove the badge from

Why
choose a Proximity technology badge system?
Proximity systems are rapidly replacing magnetic stripe or barcode
badge systems. Why? Magnetic and barcode badges wear out, are less
secure (they can be duplicated), and require exposed electronics
to
read. Vandalism, dirt, and grime can break the slot that the
badges run
through.
Proximity badges don't wear out, can't be duplicated, and use
internal (not exposed) electronics to read the card. What's
more, since
the employee simply touches their wallet or purse to the clock
to sign IN
or OUT, Proximity badges are lost less frequently than

and attendance software, and then manually entering the punch
time. Of
course, Icon's badge system offers PC editing too, but why wait?
Finally, what if you run out of badges? With other badge
systems you
may be out of luck until new ones arrive. With Icon's Proximity
badge
system, you simply assign your employee a unique ID code, which
they
use on the keypad to sign IN or OUT until you
are ready
to assign a new badge.
